The Bristles
The bristles contain charcoal reactive ion which can easily adsorb the dental plaque on the surface of teeth to make teeth healthy and white. Ultrafine staggered ends of the bamboo charcoal enhanced bristles can go deep into the various gaps between the teeth to have a deep cleaning, the soft bamboo charcoal enhanced bristles with super adsorption capacity takes care of gums and protects them from injury while brushing.

Moistureproof, Antibacterial
The bamboo charcoal enhanced bristles are more moisture proof and antibacterial than normal bristles which can help to keep the bristles dry, keep away from bacterium breeding, leaving the mouth more comfortable, healthy with clean, and white teeth.

What types are available?
That is an easy one to answer – Although most dentists will only recommend a SOFT bristle we have found that approx 45% of Australians use a Medium toothbrush… So the toothbrush is available in both Soft and Medium in the Adult size and Soft in the Child size.

The Handle
We use MOSO bamboo – why – because bamboo is part of the grass family so we are not cutting down trees – MOSO Bamboo is one of the fastest growing bamboo’s in the world and our friendly PANDAS do not like to eat it.

We do not use PLANTATION Bamboo we give the local farmers an income from land that is really only good for growing Bamboo…. And YES they are manufactured in CHINA – FAIR TRADED which means everyone gets a fair go and a fair pay.

ADULT TOOTHBRUSH – Soft bamboo charcoal infused Bristle

The handle is made of MOSO bamboo, an environmentally sustainable resource and is technically considered a member of the grass family. It is one of the fastest growing plants on earth, and incredibly abundant. Our bamboo is cultivated for between three to five years, and then harvested. It re-generates itself naturally, with minimal rain and without the need for harmful pesticides. In fact, by harvesting and using the bamboo, we help to control unwanted spread into agricultural and natural forest areas.

Our bamboo is grown by many local farmers (NOT PLANTATION).

The bamboo is heat treated to carbonise the surface of the bamboo, giving it a quality finish and good service life. The carbonisation finishing process provides water resistance and prevents the growth of microbes (bacteria and moulds) during normal use.

The Bristles

The bristles are made from a charcoal infused BPA FREE polymer (Nylon Blend) resistant to microbial growth during normal use, to ensure safety and durability.

We have tried to find a biodegradable bristle but as of this time there is nothing available – apart from boars hair (don’t want to go there). No they are not Nylon 4 (there are no bristles made from Nylon 4 on the market today).

We recommend you rinse and dry your toothbrush after use to keep it clean.
